Sakura Saku Mirai Koi Yume

Gomen nasai!! I can't believe I've left it so long since posting an entry on here. I'm not really sure why but time has just flown by and I haven't really thought about updating until now. At least there have been a few more interesting things that have happened during that time so I have a bit more to talk about.

"A Consonant Please, Carol"

Lets see... what shall we start with? Get the usual stuff out of the way first - Final Fantasy XI news. Made level 65 last week and got Tachi: Gekko which I love to bits. The whole motion of the weapon skill is so good looking. I take every opportunity use Gekko when I can! /laugh Currently I've made it to level 66 which is quite an achievement. I tried Maat a couple nights ago but I got a serious beating. I think I had the wrong tactic so that made it hard for me to win. I'm probably going to leave it until I get to level 70 and get my Hachiman set. I'll need another Samurai Testimony anyway and that's a serious pain to get hold of.

Unfortunately not all has been well on that game. Vestapyro has quit the game and a few people have left the linkshell. Gadritan has also yet to return since disappearing a month or so ago. I've been feeling a bit of an outsider recently with all the new additions who I don't know very well. Maybe it's just me but I feel like I don't belong there anymore. I hope it gets better soon.

I've downloaded the whole series of Da Capo which I've been meaning to do for a little while. I've known Horie Yui was in it for a long time (which is the main reason I wanted to watch it /laugh) but I didn't know she had such a big role. Her voice was easy to pick out when her character appeared on screen and she sounds more like her normal self in this anime. I've watched about halfway through so far and I quite like it. It's pretty funny in some places and the other seiyuu do a great job of making those scenes memorable.

Couple weeks ago my friend Mike and I went up to the Lake District near Beetham and had a look around that area. We spent the day walking to Arnside and Silverdale. It was a nice day and the walk through the area was nice and leisurely. The towns were picturesque with the little cottages amongst the newer houses. On the way back we had a hard time trying to outrun a thunderstorm! /laugh The heavens opened on the last 100 metres to the car so we had to sprint the finish to avoid a soaking.

A few days ago we returned to the Lakes to visit the Grizedale area which we'd been to as kids. It was nice to walk around the forest again and see all the places we'd been to a decade or so ago. This time the journey was a lot harder and the climbs had me out of breath, and the drops were hell on my knees! /laugh But it was a good day out on a blisteringly hot day.

Ras Tel Ma Scir Magister

Phew! Now that was a lot of stuff to recap. That'll teach me to leave it so long! /laugh The days are getting hotter now and each morning the sun shines through the window and makes my room feel like an oven. But we can't complain, better than rain. /laugh
