Breaking news! Much as I hate to use this frightfully horrid expression; ZOMG!!! I've only been and offered a place at university! It's an unconditional offer which means that as long as I can prove my qualifications, I've got a place on the course. It's the course I was most hoping for too. Four year Asia Pacific Studies at University of Central Lancashire. I'll be specialising in Japanese (obviously) and get to spend a year in Japan on my third year of the course. I'm so happy right now. I never expected them to just give me a place like that without an interview. My grades were a little short of what was required on the prospectus so I didn't expect it to be an easy course to get into. This really gives me a confidence boost. I feel like I'm actually worth something now. I can finally get my life on track and make my existence on this planet useful. Touch wood, there'll be no problems and I'll be in university next September. I can't believe it. This is too good to be true. Oh please, God, please let this be real. I just couldn't stand it if my dreams were quashed after this. I'M GOING TO UNI! YATTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is uber news! I bet you are thrilled and can't wait to start University, PLUS it's in a major of study that you actually wanted. How cool is that?! AND you get to go to Japan during your 3rd year! It doesn't get any better than that (well, Horie Yui could fall madly in love with you....) Good luck at University!! :) We're very proud of you!
